Crafternoon time - rediscovering a love for embroidery!
When I was applying for my degree course I couldn't decide what to apply for, I loved print and I loved embroidery so I applied for textile design courses and eventually ended up at Nottingham Trent, where I specialised in printed textiles. When I first started my business I was making little embroidered animal felt brooches, which I loved to make but they took me a long time. Crafternooning
A couple of years back me and a few friends starting having a fairly regular meet ups to have some snacks, drinks and do some crafting. At crafternoon number one, I learned something about cross stitch... that you don't use all 6 strands of embroidery silk (who knew!!). I'd not done any cross stitch since I was little but I had taken one of my drawings and used an online tool to convert it to a cross stitch pattern.
